Dr. Basel Elayyan
A retired colonel in the Medical Services and a pioneer in the Jordanian healthcare sector, he holds a PhD in Business Administration with a focus on quality management. He founded the Al-Sakhaa Medical Group in 2009 in Amman, which is known for its diverse medical and nursing services, with a focus on quality and excellence.
Dr. Alyan has developed a home healthcare system, establishing the largest virtual hospital in the region, staffed 24/7 with specialized medical staff to meet the needs of patients with chronic diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
He also established a specialized academy for teaching home care, with an accredited curriculum, to train and qualify staff and educate families on how to care for patients at home.
In fulfillment of his mission to improve healthcare quality, he established Al-Sakhaa Medical Hospital in Ramtha, a model of integrated healthcare that applies the highest international standards. This hospital contributes to creating new job opportunities, thus supporting the local community in overcoming unemployment.
